Milan Urban Food Policy Pact

The Milan Urban Food Policy Pact is an international agreement of Mayors. It is more than a declaration, it is a concrete working tool for cities. It is composed by a preamble and a Framework for Action listing 37 recommended actions, clustered in 6 categories. For each recommended action there are specific indicators to monitor progresses in implementing the Pact. The Milan Pact Awards offer concrete examples of the food policies that cities are implementing in each of the 6 Pact categories.
Eurocities WG Education

The WG Education is a platform for our members to exchange on policies and practices relating to fulfilling young people’s potential through education. The participating cities take an active role in identifying strategies and methods to reduce inequality of opportunity and to promote inclusive education at local level. Key areas of activity include knowledge sharing and capacity building on social inclusion through education, tackling early school leaving, improving the link between education and the labour market and addressing future societal challenges through high quality inclusive education.
Healthy Wave consortium

Implementoring Healthy Meal for all (HealthyWave) aims to contribute to the implementation of the European Child Guarantee to ensure effective and free access to at least one healthy meal each school day for all children at risk of poverty and social exclusion in Europe. We need to implement school lunch concepts that have high nutritious quality, are safe, sustainable and low in waste, inclusive, satisfactory to children, parents and school staff, feasible and affordable.
